Cork based Kuhn importer, Cork Machines Ltd launches Kuhn sprayer. ( Farm and Plant Sept 12 )

Cork Machines Ltd have been importers of Kuhn and Rauch machinery for many years. During 2012 the company added sprayers to their product range. Kuhn have a range of sprayers to suit dairy, tillage and market gardeners, ranging from 400l to 7700l. The tractor mounted sprayers begin with the Optis. Features include a polyethylene tank ranging from 400l to 1000l, Steel booms from 9 to 15mtr, a rinsing tank and a clean water tank ,manual controls and electric on off as an option. The Omnis can be supplied with both steel and aluminium booms, available in 9 to 16mtr with inline filters. Available in 3 tank size’s 600 800 and 1000ltr this sprayer comes complete with a 25l chemical filler ,100l rinsing tank, hand wash tank and road lights as standard. With the option of manual or electric controls. Multifunctional valve panel including filling and discharge for ease of operation. Boom suspension and height adjustment are also available. The Deltis is a sprayer best suited to the large scale farmer and contractor because of its L shaped frame design with side mounted booms and centre of gravity close to the tractor which means this sprayer can be used on an 80hp tractor. Tank sizes come in 800 1000 and 1200ltr and booms in powder coated paint and aluminium from 15 to 24m. 25l chemical filer 100 rinse tank and 16l hand wash tank as standard. The Parallelogram front hinged boom and 3D suspension with hydraulic accumulators ensure the smoothest boom suspension on the market. Multifunctional valve control panel and Electro-hydraulic controls with a compact controller for ease of operation. The Altis is a sprayer with the same design as the Deltis but with larger capacity, Suitable for contractors and large scale farmers who need output , tank sizes 1,300 1,600 and 1,800ltr options. Boom sizes from 15m to 28m available steel and aluminium. GPS section control is also available on this sprayer as well as end of boom circulation. All mounted sprayers have stainless steel pipes as standard and in line filters and can also be supplied with a front mounted tank with 600 or 1000ltr capacity. The Atlantique is a trailed sprayer available in 2,400 2,800 and 3,200ltr options and boom sizes 18 to 30m. This sprayer can be supplied with steering drawbar or steering axle with track adjustment. No suspension is available for this model. 3D suspension and aluminium booms and polyester tank make this a sprayer for life. The Metris comes in two tank sizes, 3,200 and 4,100L polyester tanks and boom sizes from 18 to 36m. This is a new model of compact sprayer with an overall length of 4.40m designed to reduce crop damage and increase manoeuvrability. Features include a silent block drawbar and rear axle suspension, available with a track width of 1.6 to 2.25m depending on the type of axle used. Options include GPS section control and also can be used with tremble 750 and tee jet matrix GPS systems. Rear axle steering and tank rinsing along with electronic tank measuring with auto stop are also available as an option. Aluminium booms are maintenance free and are also liquid fertilizer ready. They are non corrosive to eliminate paint chipping or risk of rusting and a weight reduction of approximately 20% compared with a 24m steel boom.
